Shanbally Civilized - Man ( Brenton) did reached the wonderful age of 11 years !!
 

On the internationale dogshow in Arnhem, Zarandillo Querida Carisma (Aruna) became VP and best Galgo Espanol puppy.

Het lijden van deze dieren moet erg geweest zijn !! De betrokken personen Eshter.G Berno B. en Marijke S. zijn binnen de fokkerswereld bekend, al zei het niet op een positieve manier!

Persoonlijk hoop ik dat zowel rasverenigingen, stichtingen en de Raad van Beheer op kynologisch gebied in Nederland nu eindelijk eens stelling gaan nemen. Controles bij fokkers zouden zeer streng moeten zijn, helaas wordt er bijna niet gecontroleerd !! Zo lang dit soort fokkers de hand boven het hoofd gehouden word zal het dierenleed doorgaan !! Ook binnen de Ierse wolfshonden wereld zijn er fokkers die samen werken of hebben gewerkt met de personen die het dierenpension te Heerde beheerden, al is beheren eigenlijk geen goed woord, in dit geval.
Er zijn helaas meer fokkers van kleine rassen in Nederland die hun honden, opgestapeld in benches houden !!!!


Dit wat er nu is gebeurt zal zijn weerslag hebben op al die fokkers die wel goed bezig zijn. Ik kan alleen maar hopen dat de al de betrokken personen keihard aangepakt gaan worden, en zo het er nu uitziet, gaat dat zeker gebeuren.

On the International CAC CACIB dog show The Winner in Amsterdam, our young bitch Ned. Ch. Shanbally Blue - Moon (Maggie) became the res. CAC CACIB Championship.   ( judge Mrs.Z Andrews from U.K )
With this she stepped into the footsteps of her father, Murphy, who gained the same qualification four years ago on the this dog show.
For us, as her loving and proud owners, a very special end of the (show) year 2009

How much is that doggy in the window ??

 
We have Irish wolfhound breeders in Holland who think it's normal to breed two litters with the same bitch in not even 12 months.
It's heartbreaking to see what those breeders do to those bitches.
 
In the past we talked, on breeders meetings, about the so called puppy farms, or people who breed just for money or what ever, every breeder at that time agreed that this is not done !
 
How sad it is to find out that two breeders in Holland, kennel Fionnmae and Oet Kepel not seem to care, they breed!! No matter if it's fair to bitch or not ! Even worse, Oet kepel did bred a bitch who is suffering from several (proven) eye problems!
 
I feel embarresed by this kind of breeders.
They seem to prefer quantity instead of quality ?? And do they really care about the welfare of the bitches?
 
Sadly enough The Irish Wolfhound Foundation (SIW) supports these breeders! Although this organization is saying only to go for the welfare of the Irish wolfhounds.
 Well in my humble opinion they are talking bullshit!
 
You never ever breed a bitch two times in 12 months. Both bitches, which I am talking about, already had a big litter in the last 11 months.
 
I feel very very sorry for these poor bitches!
And I think that every breeder, who really loves the breed, has to agree in this with me.

Our Maggie (Shanbally Blue - Moon) became her last CAC championship, for Dutch Champion, on the Internationale CAC - CACIB Dog show at Bleiswijk the Netherlands.
She was also Best bitch

Our Judge was, Mr.G Hill from G.B

Also on the Int.Dog show Bleiswijk the Netherlands, Anouk showed her own dog, Balou v.d Woltdonk ( Wire-Haired Korthals pointing dog )

Balou became his first CAC and his first Youth CAC he also was BOB.
No need to say that I am very proud on both of them!

On the Internationale dogshow in Zwolle the Netherlands my Maggie (Shanbally Blue - Moon) became the CAC CACIB Championship and also became B.O.B
Maggie's mother, my Gael (Barbarella Vianho) became 4 excellent.
(Gael was showed by Anouk)
I am very proud on my two bitches but also very proud on Anouk, she did it just wonderful!
Judge was Mrs. A.Th. Stuifbergen - Hoetjes from the Netherlands.

Shanbally Blue - Moon (Maggie) became the res.CAC Championship on the National Sighthound show in Sevenum.  Judge, Mrs. M. Brace from England.
No need to say that we are happy with this nice result.

Good news from Ireland, Ir.Ch Uella O'Hogan did had his first heart exam and is tested free of heart problems!


27 / 06 / 2009 

On 15 / 06 / 2009  Shanbally Blue - Moon (Maggie) had her first official heart exam. This was done by Drs.R.Gerritsen in the Netherlands. Drs.R Gerritsen is a member of the Collegium Cardiologicum.
Maggie had Zero points. Zero points means that she is Free of heart problems!

Today, 15 June 2009 our Brenton ( Shanbally Civilized - Man ) did reach the wonderful age of 10 years.
No need to say that we are so, extremely, happy and proud with this old man, old in body, but young in mind.

He still likes his Martini stirred, not shaken  ;-))


Onze Brenton, Shanbally civilized - Man is vandaag 10 jaar geworden en we zijn enorm blij en natuurlijk ook vreselijk trots dat hij nog bij ons is !!!
